So I learned this one from my older brother. I couldn't find my electric screwdriver and well life was just not working out for me. Screwdrivers are pretty thin and if you don't have an electric one, you're going to have to generate your own torque to turn it. If you can't get a good grip, use a pair of nail clippers to grip the body of the tool, which allows you to create a better handle with which to turn it
This next one regarding hammers is so simple I am surprised I didn't think of it.
