Man Flies Drone inside “Glory Hole Spillway” That Hasn’t Been Seen In a Decade

  • I have always had a fascination with nature. The unpredictability of it is mind blowing and there are some instances where something happens and it simply leaves us awe struck.

There is one instance in particular that caught my eye a few days ago.

Everyone who has not been living under a rock knows that the state of California has been in a drought for the past 5 years. This drought has had some devastating effects on everything from the land to animals and even the mass population have felt its effects.Rain and snow poured down on the Sierra Nevada mountain range and Northern California, allowing lakes and reservoirs that were previously dried up to fill to max capacity.

As the seasons change residents keep an eye on the rain hoping for some reprieve and for the citizens of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Northern California, they got some much-needed precipitation allowing lakes and reservoirs that were previously dried up to fill to max capacity.

Which now reveals to us what residents know as “The Glory Hole. Let's take a look inside the hole and see what footage this drone was able to detect.

I would not say it is awesome, the title is misleading, as the drone did not fly into the “Man Made” hole. It is nothing more then an overflow drain. Now, had the person allow the drone or camera to go into the drain with a 360 degree camera on and go through the entire system, now that would have been interesting to see.
