[Video] Build A Dust Collection System for the Workshop and Save Hundreds

  • Like I mentioned before there are some things you will need before you can begin.

    • Woodstock D4203 2-1/2-Inch by 10-Feet Hose, Clear
    • Steelex Wire Hose Clamp, 2-1/2-Inch, 10-Pack
    • Woodstock D4229 2-1/2-Inch T-Fitting
    • Oneida Molded DIY Dust Deputy Cyclone
    • POWERTEC 70134 2-1/2-Inch Aluminum Blast Gate for Vacuum/Dust Collector<– aluminum (plastic gates are used in the video but have been upgraded to aluminum for a sturdier hold)

Now that you have all of your materials we can begin the build. i must again give a shout to our friends over at I like To Make things for instructing us on yet another awesome build!

I will say that now that I have my vac up and running I could not be happier with this process. I have a friend who is kicking himself because he spent a TON of money on his dust collection system and I spent less than a third on building mine and mine works just as good if nt better than his.

I am thinking of customizing it next with some paint or design on the outside to give it a cool feel. A friend of mine painted his camo and it looks fantastic!

What do you think of this build? Is this something you will try? If so post your pictures, we would love to see your results.
