Plenty of books on edible and medicinal plants out there. In some areas many contain how the Natives survived. Attend gatherings and seek out Elders.
According to Anthropologists, there’s NO SUCH THING as a NATIVE American, unless you mean the MILLIONS of people born here since it was CALLED America. EVERYBODY that’s EVER LIVED HERE immigrated at one time or another, whether it be across a LAND BRIDGE or by BOAT or AIRPLANE. The INDIANS could be called ABORIGINIES, but the people that immigrated to Australia claim that moniker at present. I suppose they COULD call themselves ABORIGINAL AMERICANS. THAT would at least be ACCURATE.
