It's no secret that North Korea is not exactly a fan of our way of life. Both their current leader and the one previous were extremely vocal about their disdain for the American way of life. Democracy and freedom is a scary notion when you have kept people under your rule for so long.
Here are 6 reasons we should be watching North Korea closer now than ever before.
1. U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and President Trump are considering a preemptive strike to shut down North Korea’s nuclear program.
“If they elevate the threat of their weapons programs to a level that we believe requires action, that option is on the table,” Tillerson said in a press conference. Trump tweeted that North Korea has been “behaving badly.”
Yet such a strike might not be able to destroy every missile, such as ones hidden on mobile launchers or in the mountains.
2. North Korea has threatened nuclear retaliation if even a “single shot” is fired against it.
“The Korean People’s Army will reduce the bases of aggression and provocation to ashes with its invincible Hwasong rockets tipped with nuclear warheads and reliably defend the security of the country and its people’s happiness in case the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces fire even a single bullet at the territory of the DPRK,” a press release stated.
3. The United States and South Korea currently are conducting a massive military exercise, called Foal Eagle, involving 15,000 American and 290,000 South Korean troops, The Diplomat reported.
Jeffrey Lewis, the director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, labeled Foal Eagle as a dress rehearsal for an attack on North Korea.
This year’s exercise included mock attacks on nuclear facilities by U.S. and South Korea forces.

US does military exercises every year. This is no different. Exercises r conducted because troops in South Korea r only a buffer force until other troops (exercise) arrive. They tell u this when you enter country as a grunt.

THIS IS SILLY! Russia is a North Korea Ally. There’s no way in hell that Comrade Trump would try anything against them. A few of his little girly Tweets, maybe. But that’s about it.
I’m not worried about N. Korea at all, here on the East Coast. What concerns me are their potential allies, and the economic disaster i’m sure would follow any attack.
Although backed by Russia and China, both would likely swoop in and stop NK themselves before anything escalated. They’re well aware of how that “war” won’t end well.
The real question is if this goes down how many of you will stay and fight and who will run away? I have served 10 years in combat arms. I dont run.

U all have no idea. Any of u been n north or south Korea, I have. U all think it would be so easy an u never even seen the DMZ or probably even been shoot at. North Korea has 4th largest army and massive fire power as well as plenty other lunatics to take over. Your testosterone and lack of knowledge and skills will get you killed.

There are only several scenarios that little fat man can take. Retreat and shut up, go to the negotiating table with US or launch and his whole country will tactically be dissected or completely destroyed. If I were him I would go to negotiating table and maybe there might be some money in it for him and his country. Unless the man is real real stupid.
Doubt if he did, but the scary thing is that he might be surrounded by advisors who have some smarts.
