Lately, I have been somewhat fascinated with the varying projects that utilize old drum barrels. It seems there is so much that one can do with this leftover material that the possibilities are virtually endless. The projects that one can accomplish with drum barrels can be utilized for many different purposes. It doesn't matter if you are prepping for survival or simply want something to do this weekend you will always find something to do with this object.

If you are planning to make something out of a previously used barrel please make sure that whatever it was carrying prior to your usage has been thoroughly cleaned out and is safe for use. Normally you can find out from the prior owner what was used in it or you could spend a few extra dollars (or hundreds) to purchase a fresh barrel from a store or offline.

For this particular project, we are looking at creating some seating for any kind of man cave or gaming room. You can choose to paint the outside with any sort of design however for this project the designer went with a radioactive design with I think makes it perfect for such environments.  Let's check out some of the basic design mock ups he came up with.
