If you're pulling together a stockpile (which you should be!), water is a no-brainer. You might think it's the easiest item on your list because it's low maintenance: it'll last forever.
In reality, the safest way to store water for a long period of time is through dehydration, which might not make much sense. The purpose of water is to hydrate us so why and how would we dehydrate it? Prior to watching the video on the process, I had no idea this was possible or that it was actually the safest way to store water. Your water supply, along with medicine, is probably the last item you want to jeopardize so learning how to keep it safe and secure is crucial.
