This particular axe not only looks similar to Viking-era axes, but is formed by using blacksmith techniques of the 1700's as well. In addition, you'll notice that the eye itself is asymmetrical as opposed to typical symmetric axe eyes. While you might not be using the axe in the same manner the Vikings did, it will transport you back to their time. If nothing else, it will look great as wall decor or as a way to split firewood!
