I first noticed these shelves at a friends house. This particular friend is very handy so it was no surprise to me when I asked them where they purchased these beautiful shelves that they responded with a laugh and a simple “I made them.”

That night I kept looking over at the shelves and finally pressured my friend for more details regarding these shelves. I was already imagining multiple spaced in my home where they would come in handy and it looked simple enough that I could build them myself.

It wasn't until the next day when I received a detailed email from my friend with instructions, a list of supplies and an offer to help if needed arrived.
