It's that time of year when there's a chill in the air and we're all looking for ways to make our homes cozy and warm. There are many ways to do that, but many people prefer the old-fashioned way: fireplaces or wood burning stoves. This is especially true for DIY enthusiasts, homesteaders and others with similar interests, who often prefer something a little more low-tech and old school.

The problem with that is, using a fireplace requires a lot of wood, as well as someplace convenient to store it.
