Another advantage to this grill is that it's temporary. For example, if you need to move, you don't have to lug an oversized, cumbersome grill to your next location. You can simply disassemble the grill and reassemble it once you've arrived at your new home. Since it's small, this DIY is also ideal if you don't have a lot of outdoor space. The only downside is that your friends might be over all the time trying to use this grill. You can always solve that problem by helping them make their own!
