Build This Awesome Camper For Only $150

  • While having a large RV may be nice and an option for some people I am not one of those people. Besides my friends tell me that if you're in an RV you are not “camping.”

This, however, is the best of both worlds.

You get the comfort of not having to sleep on the ground but without the cost and excess of an RV.

Using 4 recycled fluted-plastic campaign signs from a recent election, a $20 secondhand bike, 6 pine boards ($1 at Home Depot), screws, Duct tape and zip ties, he built his latest micro mobile shelter for only $150.

Now he does offer his custom plans on his website for a small cost of around 10.00 which in the grand scheme of things is nothing compared to what you get in return. There are also pictures of other styles and kinds of campers that he has created that are also for sale so you can pick and choose which style suits you best. You can find the plans here.

So check out this video and let us know what you think. Would you want to make something like this for yourself or do you find this model a little to confining?

I love his idea adding a solar panel when on the road. This guy has some excellent ideas. Wish he sold kits.
