Build a PVC Tomato Cage in Minutes With These Simple Steps

  • PVC pipes are easy to work with and are inexpensive like the wire cages you've been using but there are more benefits to them. You'll sleep better at night knowing your tomato plants won't collapse or be crushed unlike with the wire which can be flimsy, putting your harvest at risk. PVC is a sturdy alternative so its one of the most effective support systems for your tomato plants. It'll keep your tomatoes off the ground and reduce rotting.

You can smoothly assemble several of these PVC cages in a short amount of time and without having to work with power tools or other hardware. Due to its lightweight properties, you can easily transport the PVC cages into storage when the time comes.

I’ll help you make these. After the tomatoes are done, you can plant peas, which put nitrogen back into the soil.
