Build a BBQ Grill Everyone Will Be Jealous Of

  • This thing is truly a beast of a BBQ!

    Summer is the perfect time to construct this monster of a grill. If you are prone to having large get together's this will cut time at the grill in half!

    The step-by-step plans for this set-up may not be for the beginner DIY-er however they are easy to follow and if you enlist the help of some handy construction minded friends then it should be a breeze.

    The first step in any project is to gather the tools and necessities needed to have on hand. Here’s the material list that was used by creator Schorte from Instructables for this project.  This is by no means a standard list – there may be alternative items you can conjure up to modify or even improve this design.

    FOR THE BBQ BODY:

    • 25 – – – – – 8″ x 8″ x 16″ standard blocks
    • 15 – – – – – 8″ x 8″ x 16″ cap blocks (or standard)
    • 4 – – – – – – 8″ x 8″ x 8″ half blocks
    • 22 – – – – – 12″ x 12″ patio stones (optional)
    • 4 to 8 – – -Wood/metal Stakes
    • 1 – – – – – – Flagging tape or string

    FOR THE PIT:

    • 1 – – – – – -16′ x 12″ wide expanded steel (optional)
    • 6 to 8 – – – 24″ rebar pieces (optional)
    • 2 to 3 – – – Cubic feet of sand or gravel
