6 Reasons Kerosene Heaters Belong In Every Home

  • Reasons to purchase a kerosene heater.

They are cost effective.  Most kerosene heaters usually sell for around 100 dollars on Amazon and if you can catch it on sale then I would grab it up before there are none left.

They are one of the most reliable ways to heat your home. Other machines such as generators can be too complex during a storm and propane tanks can leak or if you fail to refill them can be found empty when you need them most.

With a kerosene heater you can literally buy one, keep it along with a few gallons of fuel stored in a garage and years later you know you can have it running in a matter of minutes. Kerosene heaters are extremely simple machines. There really isn’t much that can break of otherwise go wrong.

They are safe.  With any heater that you purchase you always need to make sure to follow the safety instructions that are included with the machine. But with kerosene heaters as simpler cracked window will do if you are in an enclosed area and it should still be able to maintain the heat in the room.

It's Compact. Unlike other heaters or generators,  a kerosene heater is small and able to fit into most corners.

It can be used in any type of building. No matter if you are in a large home or apartment you can use this device anywhere.

It can function as more than just a heater. With kerosene heaters not only do they give off heat but they also produce light and well as being a great way to heat up food.

In a survival situation a person should be able to make their own fuel from plastics. The best plastic to use is HDPE because it is pure hydrocarbon. Yes it would require some prepping before SHTF but a simple pyrolysis rig can be built from a pressure cooker and miscellaneous piping. Don’t forget the noble gas or you’re gonna have a bad time.

I love wood and don’t like to change it

Lets see, we have the furnace, a small generator, a larger generator, a third generator that runs on gas or propane and is strong enough to run our electric fireplace with the heat function, a second furnace, and a space heater that runs on propane and has a liw oxygen or tip over shut off. I think we’re covered.
