While most of us are skilled in some form of the DIY trade there are many people out there that have little to know knowledge when it comes to tools and their many uses.

Even if they have a general knowledge of what each tool does chances are that is as far as their knowledge extends and the ins and outs of the various tips and tricks that go along with each tool is lost on them. So we thought that we would try and help people become a little more educated when ti comes to tools.

Now chances are every home has a tape measure in it. Even if you didn't purchase one yourself they always seem to turn up somehow. What is great about the tape measure is that there are many little tips and tricks that you can use to make your job a little simpler.
