Here Are 3 Things To Feed Chickens So Their Eggs Taste Amazing!

  • You Won't Believe the Difference!

Raising laying chickens may seem like a relatively simple task — just give them some room to roam, some food to eat and then go out and collect their eggs either for your own consumption or to sell at your local farmer's market. Well…it's a little more complex than that, and one of the most important things you need to know is that what you feed them has a major influence on how their eggs taste.

In fact, some cultures have spent years cultivating just the right diet for eggs that have beautiful golden yolks and are loaded with rich, delicious flavor. If you raise chickens or are planning to, we have three things you should feed them so their eggs taste the best they possibly can. What's great about this strategy is that these foods are relatively inexpensive and are easy to obtain, so you don't have to invest a lot of money to give your chickens a high-quality diet.

To learn which three foods you should always feed your laying hens, please continue to Page (2) for the full list.

You’re on a homesteading post. People here kill animals and eat them. People here spend an awful amount of energy on their everyday work of keeping their homestead going. We’re not eating soy yogurt & painting our nails with formaldehyde free nail polish!

Diana Carulli-DeVaul who’s being the$#%&!@*here, Diane? I’m glad you scoped my page, too bad you have an obvious learning disability and a stubborness that in time will probably kill you and most of the people you know. May even end up being your fault, so , idk, good luck with your pride and lack of empathy? Your choices aren’t personal when they effect literally everyone.

I happily grow fruits and veggies too. They go great with my pork chops, fried chicken and juicy fat steak. Kinda having a hard time understanding your comment about our choices effect everyone. Eat what you want but if it’s about killing life then maybe you should do some research. Pretty sure those plants your eating have an extreme social network of energy. They feel it when they’re killed too you know.

Tina Bell that’s silly thinking, there Tina. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had this ridiculous conversation with idiots trying to justify their killing of animals who scream, feel, and bleed. Plants don’t have a central nervous system, therefore they cannot feel pain. Plants thrive when they’re cut. They also leave us seeds to grow more. Our bodies also thrive when we eat plants. Meat and dairy makes us sick in many ways. The right diet is obvious. Plants are here to nourish us, and animals are here for their own reasons. Farming animals uses tremendous amounts of water and feed, which causes droughts and could be feeding more people. Their waste pollutes water ways and land on factory farms, their production massively contributes to global warming. Eating others’ fats and hormones cause a slew of health problems, especially heart disease and cancers which are Americas top killers. Your choices effect EVERYONE.

Question: if I feed them bacon, would I get eggs & bacon?
