The first thing that we did was get some beer. You cannot build or play cornhole without an ice cold beer and if you do not drink beer then feel free to substitute this for any sort of beverage of choice. Here in the south, it would be sweet tea or coke (pop for our northern friends).

Next, we gathered around the laptop and watched this awesome video put together by our friends over at DIYPete who explained everything.

Once we watched it we proceeded to gather our tools and start cutting away at some wood that we had laying around in the backyard. Granted the design of ours was a bit different but all in all, it's a great build and just in time for our annual BBQ's and Fish fry's.

There is still some debate on the score but I say since it was my idea and my supplies I win but apparently, there are others that disagree.
