There will eventually come a time when that lighter that you have been holding onto post-collapse will be of no more use to you. While you may be tempted to throw it away don't do that just yet. There may be a way to get another use out of it. Take a look.

I have tried this a few times with lighters that I had laying around the house that was useless but still had somehow found their way to our junk drawer and it works. In fact, it worked well.

So stock up on those packages of lighters without guilt because even once you think they've outlived their usefulness you will find just one more flick and the sparks will fly.
