    Your ax will likely be one of your best friends while you're building your homestead, so it's essential that you know about the many different types of ax available and what each is good for. While you can use a basic ax for many types of tasks, there's really no such thing as a “one-size-fits-all” ax, which is why we've put together a list of the most commonly used axes and what they work best for.
