How his neighbors didn't catch on is beyond me! Although he was pretty stealth in what he was doing.

You know some homesteaders grow tomato's, corn, they raise chickens and cows but this guy decided that was not enough….no he opted for more.

While it may have seemed to his neighbors that he was building a root cellar he was, in fact, building a cannabis factory underneath his patio.

Yeah, you read that right!

Now no matter what your stance is on the subject matter it is still illegal in most states however this gentleman didn't seem to mind that.

Here is what his neighbors had to say

One neighbour said: ‘We couldn’t believe it when we heard what had happened.
‘He’s a bit of a DIY fanatic and we noticed him doing some renovation work because all the flagstones had been taken up and were stored outside his house.
‘We asked what he was up to and he cracked some joke about having a secret garden. We were obviously none the wiser at that time as to what he meant by that.
‘The amazing thing is no-one had a clue what type of plants he planned to grow in it.’

While we do not condone any action that is illegal, you have to give the guy credit. He was brave, to say the least.

And no- sorry we will not be giving you instructions on how to DIY this project.
