  • We all want to make sure that we get the most out of our food. Helping our food maintain an adequate shelf life is by far one of the most important parts of the process. There are many ways and tricks to do this however what we have found is that if something isn't broken then there is no need to fix it.

    As we look back at how food storage has changed over the years we are impressed with how far we have come. Refrigeration has played an amazing role in food preservation however, there have been some setbacks as well. We have added things to our food that are not the best for our health in order to make our food last longer. Yet our grandparents and their parents had a way of storing food that has since taken a backseat to many modern technologies. What are we referring to?
