When we're setting out on a nature hike or a camping expedition, we're not thinking about all of the things that could go wrong. However, there’s a formidable foe we often forget about: ticks. They’re small and often unseen insects so they're not exactly the things we're most focused on when prepping for time in the woods. Unfortunately, it’s now come to light that Lyme disease is the not the only illness we need to worry about receiving from these little monsters. The POW virus is now making its way into humans.
