There are some stories where there is no logic or definable reason why people survived. Some call it miracles, some call it luck and others give credit to the random laws of nature which seem to forever surprise us.

No matter what you call it this lady is lucky to be alive!

We have all witnessed those movies where a plane, flying thousands of feet in the air and somehow the door comes off or there is severe damage to the airplane and innocent (or not so innocent) people are pulled through the opening by force never to be heard from again. Well, that is pretty much what happened to Vesna Vulovic, a flight attendant on Yugoslav Airlines DC-9 en-route from Stockholm to Belgrade only her story ends differently. Her story is not only that she was found, but that she was found alive!
