I stand by my belief that every house needs a generator. Maybe it comes from living in a place where hurricanes and rainstorms are prevalent and power outages reign supreme. A generator will at the very least help keep life comfortable until the power it back on.

There is also a downside to generators that many people never really acknowledge. One that I have come to know and many times try to ignore because let's face it when it's a hot August afternoon and the power's been out for a week there is nothing that will keep you from running your generator. However, there are a few things you can do to help lessen the stress. Here are some ideas.
