Sometimes we have to look to the past to prepare for the future and the use of newspaper is a perfect example. Our grandparents were able to creatively repurpose newspaper as items or in ways that we would not think of in the current world. We're so quick to go to the store or shop online to purchase the items we need. Instead, all it might take is a trip out to your recycling bin!

1. Glass and window cleaner. Crimple up some newspaper and then dip it into a mixture of one part white vinegar and three parts water. Hint: Wear rubber gloves. The newsprint will not transfer to your windows, but it might get on your hands if you’re not careful.
