1/4 COCONUT OIL
3 TABLESPOONS CORN STARCH
1 TABLESPOON & 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
20 – 25 DROPS LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Directions to Follow
Start by melting the coconut oil. To do this, add 1/4 cup of coconut oil to a pot and then melt over medium heat, stirring, until it turns to liquid. Once the coconut oil has melted, combine it with the corn starch and baking soda. Stir and then add the lavender essential oil and mix until the lavender oil has dissolved. I currently make my own deodorant and use similar ingredients to this. Baking soda can cause some people to break out or have an irritation in their armpits. I have to reduce the amount of baking soda in my deodorant significantly to avoid irritation and I still sometimes have issues and have to go a day or two without any so my armpits can heal. Just a heads up to those who give this a try. Anyone have any other tips to avoid the baking soda irritation?
any body try this.??
I have it. Doesn’t work that great but smells nice.
