Smart Tv's are all the rage. Anything that can keep us connected to our other devices is now seen as a necessity even though we have gotten this far without it.
The benefits of a smart television are supposed to help streamline your devices, give you access to your social media, email and other apps all on your television. It is also supposed to help free you from the big bad cable companies who never seem to be able to handle a service call properly and always want more and more money.
However there is one thing that many salesmen will NOT tell you about your smart tv and that is with one simple hack someone across the world, armed with only network access can hack into your television and watch you at any time without you knowing it.

I saw a news segment that confirmed this. I know Samsung was one brand they talked about. The report was referring to smart TVs/ Also, computers have a microphone and camera and those can be turned on without your knowledge.
A little bit of strategically placed tape fixes that problem.
technology is a doubled edge sword, good and bad, “they” can also at any point listen to anything you say or around you through your smart phone. there is no such thing as privacy anymore unless you go off grid totally, and even then there are probably was to watch, listen and track your every movement and action
They don’t if you turn off the camera in the settings. If they disable that setting eventually, use tape, paint or the like.
