One of the greatest advantages to DIY projects is the cost. The base of this electric shocker is made of PVC pipe so it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg to create. It's intriguing to watch yourself create a charge by using simple materials. Who knows–you might even be able to apply what you've learned in this project to other electrical appliances or issues in your home. Just be extra cautious with how you use this one!
