This DIY project is easy to manage and will be well worth your efforts. If you won't be needing it for a SHTF event, then it could prove just as helpful when in the woods or camping. It might look complicated, but the video below will guide you through the steps so that you can create it seamlessly.
Have you made this DIY bushcraft knife from a motorbike brake disc? Does it work well?

That would make one hell of a karambit knife!
You aint kidding. high carbon steel whoooooo. Id probably want to soften it though so it would have a little more flex to it.

I’d have to figure out what steel it is for sure, completely soften the steel and redo the heat treat on it. Then you would know it was knife that would keep an edge but not be brittle. Somewhere between soft and hard. Wouldn’t want to it snap going into a rib cage. Lol
Haha yeah tell me about it. I think break drums are too high carbon itd definitely have to redo the heat treat seems like the edge would hold but probably chip off but hell if i know haha ive only just started
If it’s completely hardened the whole blade would snap under any pressure. I dropped a hardened tomahawk head I made and it broke like glass. But if it really is hardened you could put it in the oven and soften it up. Definitely have to do a file test first.
