
It may finally be true that aspects of our favorite science fiction movies may be colliding with our real world technological advancements. Those crazy technologies used in movies could soon be a part of our everyday life. Take Star Wars, for example. When we first saw the movies, we probably thought that the technology and and machinery was interesting, which was a large part of why the movie was captivating. It turns out that the advancements we saw in those movies may not be so unattainable after all.
Not only can these new technologies help make our lives more efficient, but they can also help less-fortunate populations and the planet in general. For instance, scientists have recently made strides in harvesting moisture from air, which, if you remember, was the occupation of Luke Skywalker and his family.
