Surviving The Great Outdoors: An Argument for Why Cursing & Screaming May Be a Good Thing

  • I would like to note that this is not an article supporting the mindless rants and unhinged buffoonery that we see every day. So before we go any further please note that we are not saying you should go out and scream in the face of everyone who disagrees with you, in fact, we advise against it.

So then what exactly are we talking about?

What we are referring to is the primal, animalistic grunts and curses that are hurled every day in gyms, on an obstacle course and out in the wild where survival situations (such as climbing steep hills, building shelters and gaming meat tends to lead to a stressful situation.

Trust me, sometimes putting together that tiny tykes play set for your kid is a cake walk compared to what we see out in the wild and doing THAT simple task will make a saint curse like a sinner.

We are often told growing up that we should mind our manners and not say such words. In fact, back in my day, there was a special bar of soap reserved for little children with naughty mouths.

As time has progressed people much smarter than myself are now saying that in some situations cursing and grunting are not only good but may actually HELP!

So as I go and forward all of these in an email to my mother let's keep reading and see exactly why the tables have now turned in some varied situations.
