As we go about our day to day lives, we are most often occupied by more immediate tasks and issues like our work schedule and errands. We do not stop to think about what would happen if our location were suddenly faced with a SHTF event like a natural disaster, civil unrest or grid failure. What would we do if any of those were to occur? Your answer might be different based on the type and severity of the event.

If you don’t have a survival plan in place, then you're doing yourself and your loved ones a disservice, especially if you live in a densely-populated area. While thinking about the possibility of a devastating crisis occurring at our location is not something we look forward to, we must consider how we should and would be able to respond to a crisis.
