Step 5: Unpacking and Thoughts

I unpacked the cooled canister, cleaned out the dirt, pulled out the charcoal and broke it up to about 1 1/2 inches long. I ended up with about 3 quarts of pure charcoal!

Have you been able to make your own charcoal? Do you have any advice?
