The intense reliance we have upon technology is incredible. We don’t even realize how much we use it on a day to day basis as we take advantage of items like cars, cell phones, airplanes, etc. What would we even do without basic electricity? We would be lost and frustrated human beings.

While technology has no doubt made our lives easier and more efficient, it comes with a price, and not one that involves our own money. The environment pays as well. Since we rely so heavily on this technology, we either justify it or become blind to the effects it has on the planet. It’s time that we harness technology to save the environment rather than pollute and destroy it. After all, it’s the only planet we have!
