Use This Inexpensive & Easy Method to Conserve Water

  • Each morning, we go into our bathrooms and turn on the water. Whether it’s to brush our teeth, wash our face or clean our hands, what would we do if the water just didn’t come out of the faucet? What other activities would we have to cut out of our daily routines without water? Our lives would be drastically altered if we suddenly had to minimize or completely eliminate the use of water.

    We may need to conserve water for various reasons: a drought, a contamination related to the water supply or a SHTF event including a natural disaster. You can prep all you want, but if you don’t know how to handle a disruption in the water supply, then survival is going to be more difficult, particularly because the body can’t be without water for more than a few days.

      I keep a 5 gal bucket in my shower, run the shower to warm the water- generally its about 1 to 2 gal to get the water warm, I use that water to flush the toilet
