While Pucksatawny Phil says that we have 6 more weeks of winter we all know that spring is on its way. This, of course, means showers, showers, and more showers. Which isn't a bad thing as the incoming rain means growth for nature.
So how can we harness this wonderful resource? Well, this simple DIY project should help you gather the rainwater and utilize it for your gardens, greenhouses, and survival uses.
*of course, we always have to put in the disclaimer to check with your local and state laws regarding the collection of rainwater
Let's face facts, the cost of living is rising which includes the cost of water. It always amazed us that someone can claim something that is made by nature, falls from the clouds to nourish the land as their own and tell us that we cannot collect it and use it. But for those of you who can this is a great project to do so.
This project is so great in its simplicity, costs next to nothing to build, and traps all of the rainwater before it hits the side of your house and stores it in a container. This method will ensure you that the rainwater will not become stagnant and it will also prevent mosquitoes and other water-dwellers from entering and making it their personal swimming pool.

Didn’t the communistic unconstitutional EPA make this illegal?

Too bad it’s illegal to do in most state the sad thing is they own the water rights
Oregon is one of them.
nobody owns water.
Jaden Birchmore tell that to the government
Surprisingly in CA. rainwater harvesting is still legal.
Don’t get caught
The state owns the water. My question is who did they buy it from???
And about the air … may I can continue breathing ???
For now but I’m sure there’s a bill about to be passed to charge you air rights
This rain anymore is watered down to much
its not a legal “law” or enforceable. you pay property taxes, your land or house. you can not control where the cloud goes or when it decides to drop its rain. if the city or state wants the rain , then they can collect it. if it rains on my house, I’m using it.
