I am obsessed with these homes!
Not only are they environmentally friendly but they are also amazing at keeping energy costs low and utilizing nature as an integral part of their construction.
Did I also mention that it is solar powered… which means you never have to worry about your electricity bill?
With just a few modifications and smart adjustments, this house was built in a short amount of time, shorter than a normal house takes to construct and is cheaper to buy and better to live in.
You are never going to believe how resourceful these types of homes can be.

Very interesting.
Especially if your hillside faces the right direction. To get maximum sunlight
We have a 6000 sq ft. Home built like this in Kentucky. Build into a hillside. Has a well on property, no solar yet. But could be easily set up for solar. We want to sell it as we live in Maui now. If anyone is intrested lmk
