They will be the first to tell you that they face some obstacles. With -10 degree temps the harsh weather isn't something I would wish on anyone.  Yet they managed to muddle through and you may be surprised to see how they finally decided to stay warm.

They have some great ideas and on how to make it as a homesteader and for surviving your first winter together. I can only imagine the strain this lifestyle transition would have on even the happiest of couples but then to add the struggles of the bitter cold on top of it is just a lot to throw on someone. But they survived it beautifully and we can all learn something from that.
