We never thought we'd be the type to say “back in my day…” but we recently read a story out of Anderson, S.C. that has us scratching our heads. The student, David Michael Elliot, has been charged with a misdemeanor and faces 30 days in jail if convicted. There is a little more to the story, however. Apparently there had been previous incidents between Elliot and the teacher Edward McIver, with the latter saying “something needs to be done.”
