This Hurricane Season is Set To Be Above Average.

  • Growing up in the south I am accustomed to hurricane season. It is something that I have lived my entire life and I know that while some may consider these “severe thunderstorms” they are nothing that you want to mess with.

Once you have been through a Catagory 3 or higher hurricane you get a sense of what this beast of nature can do. Trust me, it can be vicious.

I am sure that everyone remembers Hurricane Katrina, possibly Andrew and Irene. These were storms that left thousands displaced, without even the most basic necessities. There were all sorts of looting and criminal activities that took place in the aftermath.

So now that Hurricane season starts this week, June 1st to be exact, how do we know what to prepare in the event of another major storm?

Let's take a look at what the experts have to say.
