  • There are many technological inventions that we take advantage of on a daily basis. We forget that running water, cell phones, internet and air conditioning, among many other advancements, have a large impact on our comfort and efficiency.

    In other nations, however, people aren't as fortunate. They have to rely upon their ingenuity and limited resources in order to live their lives with more ease and enjoyment. In places where temperatures rise above 100°F, it becomes imperative to find a way to cool down. While we consider A/C a convenience, for other people in those less developed countries, their health depends on finding a solution to the heat.

      What they don’t mention is that they have to be installed on a shaded north-facing wall (or any other shaded wall except south) for optimum performance…
