These Are Good Ideas in Theory But Their Application Could Be Dangerous

  • If you talk to anyone and ask them what they would do to survive if stranded out in the wild I am sure that some, if not most of them, would tell you something that is on this list. The sad truth however, is that the things on this list are wrong!

    We have all fallen victim to things that sound good in theory but in the end, can actually do more harm than good. Where these tips originate I am not sure. I am positive I have seen some of these in the movies or heard them through the retold urban legends that pass around the campfire. But the world needs to know the truth.

      Thank god none of those are on my list! I did read something about collecting animal blood in a shallow baking pan, letting it dry by a fire and cutting ut up into little squares you can add to soups or stews…. but I think I’ll stick with bullion cubes!
