It seems that we have all survived the once in a lifetime eclipse. While in some parts of the country it was an event that was not to be missed. In other parts of the country, the effect was somewhat underwhelming however it's still cool to one day be able to say “I was there.”

For the past week or so the media has been in a frenzy over the eclipse and the “what-if” questions. Die hard survivalists and end of the world propaganda pushers were screaming that it's the end of the world as we know it and as usual pretty much everyone was wrong on all accounts.

So now that the hoopla is over and the world is still in one piece where do we turn our attention to? Who else….North Korea.

It seems that the presence of the US Military in South Korea is making the DPRK a tad uncomfortable. It may not simply be their presence, it may be the joint training drills they are running with the South Korean military.

According to reports from CNN the DPRK has warned that such acts can be interpreted as

“The Trump group's declaration of the reckless nuclear war exercises against the DPRK … is a reckless behavior driving the situation into the uncontrollable phase of a nuclear war,”

So what does this actually mean for the United States? Does North Korea have the ability to hit the US Mainland from such a great distance? Let's take a look at the possibilities and what this could mean for the American people.
