This is neat! If you can acquire enough pallet boxes this is the project for you!
Pallets come in all sizes though.
For this project keep in mind to acquire square pallets.
Square pallets are perfect to use as they will require less cutting to get the necessary size for each cut.
It's recommended that you get 36″ square pallets but you may need to improvise depending on what resources are available to you.
Begin: Make one wall
You'll begin the project by constructing one of the walls.
To make one wall, the DIY-er who created this bolted 3 pallets together, end to end, resulting in a 42″ by 126″ inch wall with 10 1/2 ft in between each wall.
Joining The Walls (picture on top, below)
Each wall was bolted together using 50 3 1/2in long, 5/16inch bolts & respective washers.
If you're looking to save on cash, the DIY who built this suggests going with 1/4 inch bolts as an alternative.
Begin Second Level Wall (pictured furthest below)
Begin by bolting 2 pallets together then place the pair on the corner atop the first wall.
Continue this, bolting each section to the next on until you've gone all the way around your shed's 2nd level.
Secure the 1st level to the 2nd level by using short pieces of 1X4's inside the walls of the pallets with bolts (Creator used about 24 bolts) Creator says 4in bolts are the best for this
