How To Make a 5-Gallon Bucket Hydroelectric Generator

  • This project is near and dear to our hearts as it has many uses for both pepper and DIY enthusiasts alike. Having the ability to source power without relying upon a grid is extremely important in the world of prepping. As DIY'ers with a special interest in survival, we love being able to find ways to harness power without having to shell out lots of money.

By design, the materials needed to construct this generator are extremely common but this setup does require a bit of work but we have included the PDF manual that you can read cover to cover that is extremely detailed and tells you step by step how to create this power source. You will need basic carpentry & plumbing skills along with a decent array of workshop tools at your disposal.

So keep reading to see the amazing video that shows this project in action and grab the PDF manual so you too can begin working on getting one step closer to being 100% off the grid!

I would probably use a bit larger pipe… less friction pressure loses and less chance of pipe getting clogged.
