      Instead of a diamond drill bit you can use diamond burrs used with a pendant motor . Burrs come in different shapes and sizes which I use when making holes in clear quartz/ amethyst for pendants . You can drill through harder stones as long as you dip the stone in water to stop it cracking every few minutes .
