Converting a Dumpster into a Tiny Home.

  • Professor, Jeff Wilson, decided he was going to move into a dumpster. Yes, you read that right. He actually decided that he wanted to forgo living in his home and sell his belongings to prove to society that you can actually get by on a lot less than you have now.

The tiny house movement is not something that is new. In fact, it's been going on for quite some time yet this is the first I have heard of a dumpster being converted into a home. Not quite an experiment, but it’s a definite call to action on exactly how little you really need in life to be happy.

Wilson’s goal is to eventually bring his tiny home up to code and transform the dumpster into the smallest sustainable living home.  As you’ll see on the next page, it’s definitely a work in progress.
