Build a PVC Tomato Cage in Minutes With These Simple Steps

  • If you're one of the lucky individuals with a green thumb, then gardening is most likely an escape for you. You're able to create your own bold flowers and nutritious vegetables without having to step foot in a grocery store. You may even sell them at a local farmers market, including tomatoes. They're a staple in your kitchen and your garden. They can be used for everything from meals to sunburn relief and if you have a great recipe you could even start your own salsa company right out of your own home.

If you have a history with planting tomatoes, you may have used wire cages to support their growth. It's an obvious choice since the wire is inexpensive and seems to do the job, at least at first. You don't want to invest chunks of cash into your garden, particularly if it's more of a hobby than a source of income. It's also risky to spend money on various gardening supplies when your plants may not even flourish. Since the wire cages you're currently using for your tomato plants can become corroded and flimsy, consider switching to a PVC pipe support system. Not only is it sturdier and long lasting but it looks great too!

I’ll help you make these. After the tomatoes are done, you can plant peas, which put nitrogen back into the soil.

I have started building these but if you need 40 they get quite pricy!
